Moru Brunch Cafe

I have heard about this place for some time. I have walked past it, but haven't tried them yet. Lovers of western food are always looking for a western breakfast.

Update: Tried the bacon & eggs and omelet.

It's located in Dunsan near Time World galleria.

Directions: If you are standing in front of Benigan's up the road from Time World, Moru is behind the SK gas station across the street.

They serve a eggs benedict and smoked salmon. I know a lot of Koreans don't like western food but the western breakfast here will win their hearts over.

Scrambled Eggs, home fries, and bacon 9,000 won
Omelete - Zucchini, eggplant, ham, and cheese 9,500 won

Solpine International Restaurant

I happened to visit the Woosong West campus on Friday for a meeting. After the meeting, I ventured over to Solpine. I had been here years before and curious as to what they had changed since my last visit. I was very surprised at the menu!

Directions

대전시 자양동 226-2 우송타워 13 FL

13th Floor of the Woosong Tower in the Middle of Woosong Information College.

Jayang-dong 266-2 Dong-gu Daejeon

phone: 042 629-6610

I don't recall the name of the building, but here is a picture of it. The restaurant is located on the 13th floor. I had the Jamaican Chicken Jerk sandwich. My family tried it and they loved it.
You can check out their website solpine.kr  It has pictures of the food for you to peruse. I did notice the menu pictures I took don 't coincide with the website. A fair assumption the website hasn't been updated in awhile.

House Grill

I can't say enough about Brian Kim and House Grill. He lived in the United States for a number of years. He possesses a firm grasp on "Western" style food, which is sadly not the case of many Korean food establishments attempting the same. I was lucky enough to try Brian's Reuben sandwich a month ago, before he put it on the menu. It was delicious! House Grill is located near Lotte Dept. store. If you need directions, call him 010-9165-5142 and tell him Daejeon Access sent you^^ (See the Map & Photos below)

**Update: House Grill had a second location in Gung dong where the old Taco - K used to be. (Map below)

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup 3,000 won

Cajun Chicken Sandwich

 Double Burger

Here's some photos to compliment the map below

Here's the map of the Gung-dong location

Stay tuned for specials dishes Brian prepares...if you have something you'd like to eat, ask him, He might be able to make it for you in the future!

He now offers French toast with eggs and bacon!

****Use the parking garage next House Grill (above ground) If they ask where you are going, tell them "House Grill" and or point at HG and they will let you park there for free^^
